Best Cajun Food in Brays Oaks, Houston

Authentic Cajun fare offering boiled platter and delicious po-boys. I had a shrimp po-boy and my buddy had a fried catfish po-boy. We got the regular size and traded halfsies. I preferred the shrimp over the catfish, but the latter was bomb too.

Calliope's is like having New Orleans around the corner! Awesome po' boys fries, jalapeño hush puppies and more. I have had the catfish, oysters and shrimp. All are delicious. I cannot wait to explore the rest of the menu!

Sitting here at the drive thru and Duke took my order he has the best customer service over the intercom. Very sweet guy and bubbly. It’s like my food is made with love back there. I love this place. Calliopes for the win.

Our family ordered a bunch of food and it was ready for pickup in a timely manner. Every item we asked for was correct and most were delish. my son and I each got the eleven inch roast beef Poboys with gravy, amazing, and huge, we'll get one and share it next time. One of us loved the fried shrimp plate, another enjoyed the fried shrimp Poboy, my wife shared one of the best bowls of crawfish and shrimp etouffes we've ever tasted, butter based.....definitely get this item. If you want a true New Orleans Poboy coke here! They never disappoint. Poboys always hot, bread is always fresh. Love this place. This time I got a surf and turf (shrimp and roast beef) perfection!!
